K2

K2 is a software company (workflow, BPM, process-driven applications) with a meaningful history and an extensive and far-reaching customer base. K2 is a Gold Certified Microsoft partner, K2 software is built on .NET and it enhances and extends numerous common Microsoft technologies — most notably SharePoint.

K2 provides more integration points and deeper integration with Microsoft than any other software in the space. In addition to SharePoint, K2 integrates with InfoPath, Visio, Visual Studio, Office, Exchange, BizTalk, Internet Information Services (IIS) and SQL Server 2005. The K2 host server runs on Windows Server 2003.

K2 works closely with Microsoft to stay current on the latest and forthcoming technology, so K2 can provide the highest level of integration possible and develop the right features and capabilities in our software.

Because K2 users actually complete work in the Microsoft programs, little training is required and user buy-in is quick. With most K2 deployments, end users are not even aware of K2’s presence. They continue to work in the same environments that they know and are comfortable in.
