February 2011 - ICS Solutions CTO Symon Garfield to speak on community track at SharePoint Best Practice Conference - The SharePoint Best Practice Conference will be held from the 11th - 13th April this year in London, and ICS Solutions CTO, Symon Garfield will be speaking on Tuesday April 12th at the SharePoint Best Practice conference in London. Symon will be covering the secrets of successful Enterprise Social Computing with SharePoint 2010. February 2011 - ICS Solutions Dip into SharePoint 2010 free trial comes to an end - The hugely successful Dip into SharePoint 2010 trial - where users could experience and evaluate SharePoint 2010 through a free trial platform - has been running for over a year and has now ended with over 1,800 happy users. January 2011 - ICS Solutions work with South West Water on SharePoint 2010 project - ICS Solutions have been working with South West Water on an exciting new SharePoint 2010 project. December 2010 - NEW ICS Solutions employees - ICS Solutions are
recruiting for a number of roles, the newest members of our team, David and
Karthik, joined this week:
David joined the sales team on 29th November as a ‘Microsoft Specialist’ and
will be focusing on selling DreamTeam services to corporate customers. David has
spent the last 6 years supplying projects with contract resource and is excited
about the road ahead with ICS Solutions. David lives in Reading and is a keen
drummer (and has a pretty cool band!).
Karthik also joined the sales team this week, with over 12 years IT experience
with well-respected Microsoft SharePoint partners, he’s joined the sales team to
focus on new business opportunities with SharePoint.

November 2010 - ICS Solutions and Contemporary hold successful joint seminar - on 11th November ICS Solutions and our BI Specialist partner, held a joint SharePoint 2010 and Business Intelligence seminar. We had over 45 people attend the session who heard from ICS' CTO Symon Garfield, and Contemporary's Professional Services Director, Asad Mahmood about Excel BI, Excel Services, SSRS, Visio Services, PowerPivot, Pivot and SharePoint 2010.

October 2010 - New career opportunity - Resourcer - ICS DreamTeam are looking to add a Resourcer to our current team. The Resourcer is responsible for delivering resourcing services to a range of clients and partners. You will work with both established and new clients on contract resourcing requirements, actively sourcing consultants from within our pool, as well as bringing new resources into the DreamTeam.
October 2010 - ICS Solutions work on an exciting Azure solution for Mobile Ventures Kenya - ICS Solutions are pleased to have worked on an exciting new Azure solutions for Mobile Ventures Kenya, a start-up organisation focused on developing innovative financial products that are tailored to meet the needs of unbanked customers in Kenya. ICS Solutions have developed Azure solution that will enable MVK to utilise a SQL Azure database through a Windows Azure web front-end. July 2010 - ICS Solutions sponsor their Microsoft Partner Account Manager, Matt Pilgrim, for the MDS (Marathon Des Sables) Challenge - The Marathon Des Sables is hailed as the toughest footrace in the world. To compete, not only do you need to be fit, you need extreme mental strength. The MDS covers 243km (151 miles) over 6 days. Competitors are required to carry everything they need for the duration of the event (apart from a tent), water is rationed throughout the various stages and the final detail is that the event is staged across the Sahara Desert in Morocco! April 2010 - ICS Solutions begin work on an exciting Azure solution for Mobile Commerce Ventures - ICS Solutions are pleased to announce that they have commenced work with start-up organisation Mobile Commerce Ventures (MCV); a new UK based company focused on building low cost, mobile commerce services in emerging economies. MCV Ltd is currently working on some prototype financial services for unbanked customers in East Africa.
